The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) owns state parks. They are responsible for buildings, roads, and permanent installations necessary for the operation of the park.

Some of the services that are not part of the infrastructure are handled by contractors.  They are chosen by the DNR through a competitive bidding process.  This is the website of the contractor that currently operates concessions at Beed’s Lake State Park. It is only about services provided by the concessionaire.  The home page has information on what those services are.  We do not provide anything else.
